Rule Variants for Magic: The Gathering (Not yet sanctioned for tournament play) Theslin Wanders-Through-Bramble, 11/11/95 --Live Action Magic Select cards for Library as per normal. For each creature in Wizard's library, one additional player will be needed. The game play should be performed in a large field, cleared of all debris and glass products. Play begins as normal, with each wizard standing at an opposite end of the field. Whenever a player summons a creature or artifact creature, one of the "side players" must move into the field, standing near his summoning wizard. As more creatures are summoned, they should ideally form two large lines, standing between their wizard and the opposing summoned creatures. Players should be chosen to represent creatures of a reasonable size (I.e., use a young child, not a burly linebacker, to represent a Scryb Sprite). When a wizard declares an attack, the appropriate creatures from his line should charge through the opposing wizards line. If they succeed, the wizard will take appropriate damage. Additional, more realistic representations of spells such as Fireball are not suggested, as the playing field is potentially inflamable.
